Student Success

  • I highly recommend both courses (Ansible and Netmiko) for those looking to learn more about network automation. Kirk Byers does a great job at explaining the content, provides the lab resources required to perform the course material, and is good at responding to questions on his Slack Channel.

    Andrew Turner
  • I have taken several paid and non-paid Python courses. I can say that by far your course is the best one I have taken. The way you explained stuff just makes sense to me.

    Joli Martinez
    Automation Engineer
  • I am on the material for the 3rd week and I just wanted to compliment you on the way that you explained how to unwrap the data structures. Best step by step explanation I have seen so far to help me understand and work with the data. Thank you very much!

FAQ

What is the standard format of a course?

The courses are a lesson a week for between six to ten weeks. The lessons contain videos, exercises, and additional content. The lessons are sent out each Thursday morning, U.S. Pacific Time. For the exercises, we provide reference solutions.

The Netmiko Course is slightly different and runs on a twice a week schedule—Tuesday and Thurdsday mornings.

Is there a lab environment?

Yes, each course has a lab environment. The lab environment generally has two parts: 1)a set of network devices, and 2)at least one AWS-Linux server. The Git course doesn't use any network devices and only uses the AWS-Linux server.

Your account will have a pre-built Python virtual environment with a set of libraries needed for that course.

Each course will have a mix of networking vendors and platforms. Common vendors/platforms are Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, Cisco NX-OS, Arista EOS, and Juniper Junos

Is there a community forum?

Each course will have a community forum available for some set of packages. The community forum is generally limited to the higher-end packages (Plus and Premium Packages). The community forum is a forum where students can interact, post code, ask questions, and make recommendations.

What if I am unsatisfied with the course after I sign-up?

If you are not satisfied with a given course, there is a 30-day money back guarantee. No questions asked.
